Yellow Brick Games is hiring a Level Designer to join our team of experienced developers working on an exciting new project. In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of design tools, and sense of both scale and pacing, to create highly interactive spaces. You’ll also help design quests where players can lose themselves in memorable, fantastic adventures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, script, implement, and debug levels and the quests in the Unreal Engine.
• Implement, balance and debug combat encounters, environmental challenges, and emergent gameplay systems.
• Collaborate closely with the team to develop setting and world logic.

Requirements

• At least one shipped title in the PC or Console space.
• Experience working with 3D levels and level editing tools. Familiarity with blueprint-based scripting systems a plus.
• Experience with design markup, and able to clearly communicate design intentions.
• Exceptional collaboration skills.
• Self-starting, and actively able to identify problems and own fixes to them.
• Able to predict and commit to delivering work in a reasonable timeline. Familiarity with agile production methodology (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) a plus.
