Yellow Brick Games is hiring a Cinematic Designer to join our team of experienced developers working on an exciting new IP. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling story moments inside the game engine, while collaborating closely with the writing, animation, and level design teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the writing team to develop scripts into animatics.
• Create in-engine cinematics for specific story beats and action key moments of the project.
• Work closely with the Writers and Level Designers to balance story with gameplay.
• Partner with Animators and Artists to build impactful and memorable cutscenes.
• Follow and maintain pipelines and technical requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in the video games industry as a Cinematic Designer/Artist.
• A good knowledge of in-engine sequencers. (Unreal Engine is a plus)
• Experience with character and camera animation in 3D software.
• Good knowledge of cinematography and acting.
• Aware of new technologies and processes related to the industry.
• Ability to work with people from other fields of expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and abilities to work efficiently within a team.
• Self-sufficient and resourceful; able to identify and work with technical constraints.
