Yellow Brick Games is hiring a Tools/Audio Engineer to join our team of experienced developers working on an exciting new IP. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and our Audio director to create the necessary tools and audio systems to facilitate the production for content creators.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain tools and systems that allow content creators to facilitate the production.
• Work closely with our Audio director to create and ensure delivery of high-quality audio systems and efficient workflows with innovative tool creation.
• Analyse the performance of the tools and the audio system and optimize accordingly.
• Document and support feature creation.
• Support and maintain voice and localisation pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Programmer and taking games from concept to completion.
• 2 years of experience in Audio Programming.
• At least one shipped AAA or AA title in the PC or console space.
• Strong C++ programming skills is a mandatory.
• Knowledge in game development for multi-threaded systems.
• Expertise in debugging techniques and software development practices.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Self-sufficient and resourceful; able to identify and work with technical constraints.
• Knowledge of audio fundamentals (Occlusion, Reverb, sound propagation etc.)
• Experience with Unreal and third party audio middleware (Wwise) a plus.
