Yellow Brick Games is hiring a Development Tester to join our team of experienced developers working on an exciting new IP. In this role, you will work closely with all aspects of game development to help support the team in delivering a high-quality game experience for players. You will be responsible for testing, writing test plans while providing help to the development team in many ways.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With the QA lead’s help, build and execute the right QA test cases.
  • Collaborate with the production team to understand the overall game vision & design documentation.
  • Communicate with the development team to give feedback and help them with features.
  • Write and maintain documentation
  • Help and participate in Builds review meetings, playtests, etc… for the project.
  • Develop and update test plans based on game features and design documents
  • Find, enter, and detail new issues found in the game

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing for video games.
  • At least one shipped AAA or AA title in the PC or console space
  • Familiar with bug tracking software (Jira, Hansoft, etc…)
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful

EXTRAS

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge in multiple video game hardware testing
